Jason & Kelsey - Soaring to New Heights

From the moment I met Jason and Kelsey I could tell they were 2 of the nicest people around and I was excited to work with them. Then when they started to explain all the amazing things they had planned for their wedding day I got even more excited. It turned out to be an incredible day considering the rain held off until the evening.
Jason and Kelsey just had such a strong connection with a love for everyone and a huge love for life, God, and music. We had a blast being a part of their day. How fun is it to film a bride that’ll do just about anything including jump on a trampoline.

The Importance of Being Eager - Megan & Andrew

Megan has been a great fan of my work for a while and was awesome to feel the excitement she had towards her wedding cinematography. When a bride understands the importance of this aspect of her day and puts total confidence in us it makes it much easier for us to do the job we need to. Megan and Andrew both just oozed love for family and friends and you could see right away why this was such an important thing for them. When you’re busy with everything on your day you may catch glimpses of your guests or say a quick “hello” and “thank you for coming”. Our job is to catch the things you might have missed and this is a big one. We’ve often had feedback on how valuable this is because it’s so nice to see the faces of the people they cared about enough to invite. It’s a big day and it all goes by so fast.

Heather & greg - Jasper Wedding

It wasn’t too hard to convince us to take a trip to scenic Jasper, Alberta and film Heather and Greg’s wedding. They were an amazing couple and the views were just breathtaking. It was nice to have so many incredible shots to choose from but that also made it harder to put their recap video together.

If you’re wondering what I’m doing at 3 in the morning it may not be editing like mad... or if I am I might be doing it one-handed with a little one cuddled into my arm. Hopefully having a new addition to the family smack dab in the middle of summer doesn’t set me back too much and I hope my clients will also be understanding as well. Please. I’m now in a 5 kid household. Pretty Crazy... but so fun. I love my kids.

There's so much that goes into preparing for the birth of a child. With all the craziness of our busy lives I was afraid we weren't going to be able to give the same type of welcome as say our first. Taking the time to decorate the nursery and include all of our kids in the process really turned it around for. Watching this Christmas morning type of excitement as they were introduced to their new little brother is so precious and being able to document it like this has really helped me to sit back and think about the things that are most important. It's so touching to see how loved this little guy is. Welcome Damien into our family. We sure love you!

Ed and Livia started dating on May 9th. Then a year later they got engaged on May 9th. And they waited 12 years for May 9th to fall on a Saturday so they could say I do. Talk about patient. It also made the anticipation and excitement for the day that much more apparent.

This was a wedding that was all about the celebration. The food was unbelievable... most of it was fish Livia and Ed had caught themselves. They’re big into fishing.
